Delt
“The Complete Delt Program”
What Pledging ultimately leads to is Brotherhood. Delta Tau Delta Fraternity augments the mission of higher education institutions by providing an environment in which undergraduate men can practice and develop the necessary life skills needed, through chapter activities, to lead a life of excellence. To answer the call of providing members of the Fraternity with a well-rounded opportunity for individual growth and development, Delta Tau Delta has designed a new total membership education program that will enable members to succeed in all aspects of one’s life.
The Complete Delt Program is designed to provide undergraduate members of the Fraternity with a well-defined series of objectives, which will guide him in developing the necessary tools, and experiences needed to attain his unique leadership potential. By challenging undergraduate Delts to fulfill specific goals that are important for success in all areas of collegiate life, the Franklin Covey Co. and Delta Tau Delta Fraternity will better prepare members for life as a Complete Delt.
Fraternity Involvement
There are many ways to get involved within our local Chapter at Mizzou. Active Members have the opportunity to serve on our Executive Committee which consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Risk Manager. Or a member can serve on our Administrative Board consisting of 12 Chairmen serving as head of their respective Committees. Administrative positions consist of Academics, Activities, Community Relations, Ritual, House Manager, New Member Educator, Rush, Parent/Alumni Relations, Social, Public Relations, Brotherhood, and Awards. Whether or not you are a Chairmen or just a committee member, Delta Tau Delta gives its members the freedom to be involved in our Fraternity.
Campus involvement
By joining Delta Tau Delta you will be opening a doorway of opportunity to involvement in campus activities. As a Delt you are encouraged to be active among these many organizations. Our members have held leadership positions in charge of running some of Mizzou’s largest events such as Homecoming, Greek Week and GAMMA. Along with these leadership roles, Missouri Delts also serve on the Missouri Students Association Senate and hold positions on the Interfraternal Executive Council.
National Leadership Programs
Since 1992, Delta Tau Delta has offered its undergraduate students the opportunity to enhance their personal and leadership development through the Leadership Academy. Supported by the Delta Tau Delta Educational Foundation, the Leadership Academy is the premier leadership experience in the Fraternity. Each year, the Leadership Academy is where some of the best and brightest undergraduate students in Delta Tau Delta come together to live, learn, and experience leadership in a fellowship of brotherhood.
