Across the nation members of Delta Tau Delta work to inspire the youth of tomorrow, and the men of Delta Tau Delta in Columbia are no different. Unlike Philantrophy events ranging in duration from a day to about a week, the Adopt-A-School program continues through the duration of the school year. Throughout every school week, the Missouri Delts have around 4 to 5 members go to Grant Elementary and participate in activities during recess with the Grant students. Activities include anything from soccer to four-square. In playing and interacting with the students the hope is to create a positive influence and help guide the students down a successful path.

Over 150 campuses across the nation participate in the Adopt-A-School program either through their Interfraternal Councils, Chapters, or other organizations. While Adopt-A-School is a national program, its strength is in its effectiveness on the local level. By participating an organization, such as Delta Tau Delta, is able to successful give back and impact their community in a positive way impacting generations to come.
