The Gentlemen of Delta Tau Delta recently had several members apply for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program of Central Missouri located in Columbia. Seeing the enthusiasm of the House even inspired their House Mother to join in. Members of the house signed up on there own accord to show support for the Columbia community and help guide its youth in the right direction.

Each Big Brother will have one Little Brother. Participants will be spending one hour each week at school with their Little Brothers. In that hour Big Brothers will spend time with their Little Brothers playing games, eating lunch, helping out on some homework or even sitting and just having a brother-to-brother talk.

The program is always looking for new members but is currently in a special need for Big Brothers. The one-hour a week spent with these children does influence their lives in a positive way. Members of Delta Tau Delta hope more good mentors will choose to sign up and help the positive education of our community’s youth and inspire them in to their maturity.
